The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, highly analytical performance role for a paid media specialist who loves managing budgets efficiently while obsessing over return on investment.
As a PPC & Paid Ads Manager, you will drive measurable ROI through expert management of ad spend across a portfolio of Australian clients. You will take complete ownership of campaign configurations, creative test pipelines, and budget scaling strategies across major digital ad networks. Working closely with creative designers and digital strategists, you will turn raw analytics into high-performing paid campaigns that scale user acquisition.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Campaign Setup & Strategic Structure
- Media Deployment: Build, configure, and launch multi-layered paid media campaign architectures across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, and LinkedIn networks.
- Audience Mapping: Design advanced targeting profiles, implement custom retargeting funnels, and build lookalike audiences based on historical buyer profiles.
- Budget Allocation: Manage and pace daily client ad spend budgets strategically to minimize wasted click costs and capture seasonal opportunities.
Testing, Optimization & Tracking
- A/B Creative Testing: Run rigorous split tests on graphic ad creatives, visual variations, and conversion-focused copy options.
- Conversion Engineering: Monitor and audit conversion pixels, server-side API tracking loops, and tag management arrays to secure clean data attribution.
- ROAS Scaling: Implement data-backed scaling frameworks on winning ad sets to grow conversion volumes while maintaining target acquisition costs.
Reporting & Team Collaboration
- Performance Reporting: Compile regular, transparent campaign readouts detailing key metrics like CPC, CPA, and ROAS.
- Real-Time Alignment: Work in complete sync with Australian time zones (AEST/AWST) using communication tools like Slack, ClickUp, or Jira.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience: ~2–4 years of dedicated paid advertising experience, with proven hands-on management of complex ad spend structures inside a digital marketing agency setting.
- Platform Certifications: Active professional platform validation across Meta Blueprint and Google Ads ecosystems.
- Data Literacy: Exceptional analytical skills, a strong grasp of mathematics, and deep comfort navigating analytics platforms (like GA4) to troubleshoot drop-off points.
- Technical Foundations: Familiarity with how landing pages, conversion tracking tags, pixels, and web domains interact.
- Soft Skills: Highly structured organization habits, the capacity to juggle multiple campaign deadlines simultaneously, and clear English communication skills.
