This is a comprehensive, people-focused operational role for an HR professional who excels at maintaining a productive, compliant, and highly engaged remote workforce environment.
As an HR Generalist/Advisor, you will govern everyday employee relations, performance tracking systems, and workplace compliance across distributed remote teams. You will serve as a vital support system for both our remote specialists and Australian agency clients. By driving active engagement, building clear policies, and managing conflict resolution objectively, your work will directly protect team retention and foster a happy, high-output workplace culture.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Employee Relations & Culture Engagement
- Culture Building: Design and roll out internal engagement initiatives and feedback loops to maintain a vibrant, connected remote community culture.
- Conflict Resolution: Mediate workplace concerns and provide objective, balanced conflict resolution support to team members and managers.
- Performance Tracking: Guide performance evaluation pipelines, track team milestones, and support managers with constructive development planning.
Compliance & Policy Development
- Policy Architecture: Draft and update localized company policy handbooks, workplace guidelines, and secure independent contractor agreements.
- Labor Compliance: Stay updated on regional remote labor guidelines and independent compliance models to protect all parties.
- Records Management: Maintain organized, secure digital HR databases containing employee profiles, contract revisions, and compliance logs.
Operational Advisory & Support
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to internal leadership and Australian clients regarding workforce management, retention strategies, and team health.
- Real-Time Sync: Work in total alignment with Australian time zones (AEST/AWST) to provide real-time HR support and quick response times.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience: ~3–5 years of dedicated experience as an HR Generalist, HR Advisor, or Employee Relations Specialist—ideally within a fast-paced agency, BPO, or distributed remote workplace.
- Education Baseline: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a highly relevant operational field.
- Compliance Literacy: Deep practical knowledge of independent contractor compliance models, data security standards, and remote workforce dynamics.
- Problem-Solving Approach: Excellent mediation capabilities, objective critical thinking skills, and a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Soft Skills: Absolute professional discretion, exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, and structured organization habits.
