The Opportunity

This is a highly organized, creative, and community-focused role for a social specialist who loves managing digital profiles and turning casual followers into active brand advocates.

As a Social Media Manager, you will manage daily platform operations and community growth to build a consistent and engaging brand presence for our Australian clients. You will serve as the active digital voice of the brand across public social channels, ensuring content calendars roll out flawlessly. Working closely with creative designers and copywriters, you will turn social feeds into high-visibility brand communities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Content Scheduling & Profile Management

  • Feed Aesthetics: Plan, curate, and schedule daily publication assets to maintain clean grid layout aesthetics and consistent brand narratives.
  • Multi-Platform Management: Oversee and maintain optimized business profiles across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Asset Coordination: Coordinate directly with design and video teams to ensure creative components are delivered, formatted, and staged on time.

Community Engagement & DM Nurturing

  • Active Monitoring: Monitor public comments, mentions, and brand tags to respond quickly and keep the community engaged.
  • DM Management: Manage inbound direct messages (DMs) to answer inquiries, nurture warm customer interest, and pass qualified leads to sales teams.
  • Crisis Prevention: Flag negative sentiment or customer complaints early and handle them professionally based on brand communication guidelines.

Analytics & Reporting Alignment

  • Performance Analysis: Compile regular monthly social analytics readouts tracking audience growth, reach, and interaction trends.
  • Real-Time Sync: Work in total alignment with Australian time zones (AEST/AWST) to publish content and engage with audiences during their peak online hours.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience: ~2–4 years of dedicated experience running business profiles on social media, preferably managing multiple client accounts within an agency environment.
  • Dashboard Mastery: Practical, hands-on experience using modern social publishing and planning tools like MetricoolLaterPlanoly, or Hootsuite.
  • Visual & Brand Sense: A strong eye for visual layouts, graphic trends, typography spacing, and content formatting.
  • Conversational Writing: Exceptional conversational English writing skills—able to match a brand’s specific tone of voice, from professional B2B to casual consumer brands.
  • Soft Skills: Outstanding organizational habits to manage content calendars across multiple brands without missing deadlines.
