The Opportunity

This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role for a recruitment specialist who understands technical ecosystems and loves finding top-tier development and creative talent.

As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and evaluating the top 5% of specialized talent to match the unique needs of our Australian clients. You will own the candidate pipeline from initial headhunting to skill evaluations and shortlisting. Working closely with AU agency owners, you will translate complex role requirements into a steady stream of highly qualified professionals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Sourcing & Pipeline Management

  • Niche Sourcing: Execute targeted candidate searches and headhunting strategies using advanced Boolean queries across LinkedIn and specialized networks.
  • Pipeline Control: Build and maintain an active talent pool of vetted technical, creative, and performance marketing specialists.
  • Market Mapping: Stay updated on regional talent trends and salary benchmarks to advise internal teams and clients effectively.

Vetting & Skill Assessment

  • Rigorous Vetting: Screen candidate resumes and conduct multi-tier assessment reviews to verify technical expertise and project portfolios.
  • Capability Testing: Coordinate and administer specific skills assessments, code reviews, or creative test briefs.
  • Shortlist Interviews: Lead initial cultural and behavioral interviews to create refined, high-match shortlists for Australian business owners.

Collaboration & Tracking

  • ATS Management: Ensure all candidate steps, notes, and progress records are accurately logged in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Real-Time Sync: Sync completely with Australian time zones (AEST/AWST) for daily team huddles, hiring updates, and client alignment.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience: ~2–4 years of dedicated experience in technical recruitment, ideally working within an agency, BPO, or fast-growing remote talent ecosystem.
  • Tech Literacy: Strong understanding of modern technical stacks (e.g., React, Next.js, PHP, Shopify) and creative production workflows.
  • Sourcing Mastery: Deep practical knowledge of modern sourcing platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems, and specialized talent platforms.
  • Interviewing Instincts: Excellent behavioral profiling capabilities and a sharp eye for both technical depth and cultural adaptability.
  • Soft Skills: Outstanding English communication skills (written and verbal), high emotional intelligence, and strong organizational habits to manage multiple open pipelines.
