Full-Stack Developer

The Opportunity

This is a comprehensive, hands-on engineering role for a developer who excels at building both client-facing interfaces and complex backend ecosystems.

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for creating custom software architecture, managing relational databases, and building scalable digital products. You will own the full life cycle of application features—from database design and secure API protocols to front-end dashboard presentation. Working directly with Australian agency owners, you will turn complex business requirements into fast, reliable, and secure web applications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Backend Architecture & API Engineering

• Database Management: Structure, optimize, and manage relational and non-relational database models to ensure secure data storage.
  
• API Protocols: Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs and custom webhooks to connect separate software systems.
  
• Custom Software Builds: Engineer internal logic, custom dashboards, and proprietary business tools tailored to client specifications.

Front-End Integration & Infrastructure

• Interface Connection: Connect frontend interfaces seamlessly to backend endpoints, ensuring quick data rendering and smooth user experiences.
  
• Scalable Infrastructure: Deploy and manage application builds across secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability under heavy web traffic.
  
• Code Quality: Write clean, semantic, and well-documented code using modern version-control workflows (Git).

Agency Collaboration & Support

• Project Transparency: Provide clear updates on technical progress through agency tools like Slack, ClickUp, or Jira.
  
• Real-Time Sync: Work in absolute alignment with Australian time zones (AEST/AWST) for instant daily communication.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience: ~3–5 years of dedicated full-stack web development experience, preferably handling multiple projects within an agency setting.
  
• Technical Toolkit: Strong proficiency in backend environments (e.g., Node.js, PHP) combined with relational/non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
  
• Frontend Capabilities: Deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js) alongside semantic HTML5 and CSS3/Tailwind.
  
• Integrations Mastery: Demonstrated experience designing custom APIs and implementing complex third-party system integrations.
  
• Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud deployment services and standard automated CI/CD pipeline structures.
  
• Soft Skills: Advanced problem-solving capabilities, high attention to data security, and clear English communication skills.
